Yellowstone River at Hayden Valley

The Yellowstone River flows through Hayden Valley making it a popular spot for wildlife and people alike. Rumor has it, this is one of the best places to see wildlife, particularly around sunrise and sunset. However, rumor also has it that Lamar Valley is better. This is due to the fact that Lamar Valley is more narrow, making it easier to see the wildlife.  

Based on my personal experience, I would say Lamar Valley is a bit better and easier to see wildlife. But both are worth a visit.
